Iowa Proposes Online Gambling in an Unusual Way

While every state in the US is dealing with the pros and cons of internet gambling, Iowa has taken a new and bold approach to this problem. A state representative has proposed that anyone who wishes to gamble online must first make a deposit at any one of the 17-state approved casinos. The operation would be regulated by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission thus guaranteeing this new procedure. But here's the odd part of this legislation. Instead of referring to this proposal as "online gambling," it would be known as "account deposit wagering."
