Lady in Red Slots

Microgaming's latest hot slot is the Lady in Red, and she is a very lucky lady, indeed! As with all Microgaming games this one is at the cutting edge of online gambling technology. It's beautiful design and delightful sounds are an alluring combo that will keep players entertained for hours on end.

Lady Sings the Blues

On this game, the Lady in Red is a torch singer from an old style nightclub. The whole game, while being a current top end slot, has the feel of Vegas of the 1960s. The backdrop for the game is that of a nightclub stage with the red velvet curtains drawn back to reveal the play reels. It is a very good looking and immediately appealing slot game design, and one that will lure players in.

The Lady's Symbols

The nightclub show them is carried through the major symbols including a pianist, an old-style camera, some roses and a glass of whiskey on the rocks. And, of course, the Lady in Red herself. Besides these game specific symbols there are card indices from 9 through Ace. Like the other current Microgaming games, these card indices, while not particularly creative in concept, are well rendered to fit in with the look and the feel of the rest of the game.

The wild card symbol is the Lady, who replaces any card in any combination with the usual exception of the scatter. The scatter symbol is the Camera - three or more Cameras will win the player up to 25 free spins. Again, as is typical in the current breed of slot games, the free spins may compound during a free spin session.

The Lady Doesn't Sing the Blues

This is a fun and great looking game, but the one shortcoming that was blaringly obvious was the background music. There wasn't any. I a game that is musically themed, it would have been nice to have some great jazzy tunes to go with the play, but all we got was the typical casino background noise that we get with the bulk of slot games. The sounds do contribute excellently to the casino replication, but we hoped for more.

The Lucky Lady

Coin values may be set on Lady in Red to values ranging from 1¢ up to 20¢, which is not as broad a range as most current games, but any number of coins may be played up to 250, making the maximum bet $50 per spin, which is sufficient to tickle most high-rollers fancies. 25 paylines make the paybacks constant and a jackpot of 12,500 coins will keep interest up for hours of play.

Play the Lady in Red Tonight!

Overall, this is a great game. We recommend that you get yourself into a comfortable chair with a frosty beverage of your choice, maybe put some smooth jazz on the MP3, and play Lady in Red tonight!
